MARKET
(a) The Merged Company has Cement and Sugar as it's two core Sectors.
Having been established together and controlled by Government
of India, the Company is not anticipating any bottlenecks in the
Market.
(b) The Cement Unit, a leader in the mini cement industry, is
making its ways easier than it is compared to competitors requisite
market strength.
MATERIAL
As far as Cement Unit is concerned it has its own plenty of limestone
deposits to cater to the needs of the Company and the Sugar Unit
will have 209 adopted villages in the vicinity of the factory
which will have abundant facilities to grow the sugarcane.
MANUFACTURING
The Plant and Machinery for the Sugar Unit was supplied by Buckau
Wolf India Limited ( Krupp Industries India Limited), Pune on
turn-key basis which is running effectively.
MANPOWER
Specialized skills in Manufacture, Maintenance and other technical
areas. Focus on expertise in all areas of Manufacture and Finance
due to increase in size. We work together to find solutions that
benefit our customers, our company and our neighbours.
GENERAL
Better spread of facilities. Lower amount of Manpower costs by
avoiding duplication.
ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION
CEMENT
DIVISION
Kakatiya Cements is the first mini cement plant to install ESP
&CT for abatement of pollution . Pollution control is given
top priority in the factory.In addition, they had introduced imported
voltage regulator ESP ,Dust collectors,Multi Cyclones,water sprayers
at all vulnerable places and this helped in maintaining pollution
free environment. Raw Material stockyards and colony roads are
concreted to avoid fugitive emission. More and more efforts are
being made in afforestation and in the factory,mines and colony.
All the Pollution control equipments are working with full
efficiency and the performance is being monitored with our own
equipment .
SUGAR
DIVISION
The Sugar factory has taken steps to reduce effluent load on the
effluent treatment plant by making necessary arrangements for
recycling of cooling water and letting out hot water into safe
places besides planting saplings and seedlings in and around trees
to protect the environment and ecology.By spending huge amounts
the Company has fully automated the Boilers resulting in better
and efficient combustion and this helped in preventing fuel going
to the chimney. For removal of ash from the Dust Collectors on
continous basis, dust collectors are provided with Bin at the
end of belt conveyor. A blower is provided with a ducting up to
Bin connecting the outlets of two dust collectors of the systems.
Effluent Treatment Plant : Action is already initiated for upgradation
of ETP and the works are exceptedto be completed before November,
1999, besides recyling of cooling water and lifting out hot water
and lifting out hot water into safe place.
Planting of saplings and seedlings in and around the Factory and
Colony is being continued to develop greenery to protect environment.
